Acceptable Use Policy

Rules designed to protect customers, providers, third parties, and the 518Proxy network.

Effective date / version: 2026-07-31

1. Responsible and lawful use

Use 518Proxy only for lawful purposes and in a way that respects third-party rights and platform rules. You are responsible for your users, applications, destinations, data, and the security of credentials issued to your account.

2. Prohibited conduct

You may not use the service to:

  • gain unauthorized access to accounts, devices, networks, or data, or evade access controls;
  • distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, exploit code, or denial-of-service traffic;
  • conduct phishing, credential stuffing, card testing, payment fraud, impersonation, or identity theft;
  • send spam or abusive bulk communications, manipulate advertising or engagement, or violate platform automation rules;
  • scrape or collect data where prohibited by law, contract, access controls, or the rights of the data subject;
  • buy, sell, exploit, or distribute child sexual abuse material or other unlawful content;
  • harass, threaten, stalk, discriminate, or infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
  • conceal or facilitate criminal activity, sanctions evasion, money laundering, or trafficking in prohibited goods;
  • interfere with our network, providers, customers, monitoring, rate limits, or abuse controls; or
  • resell or share access outside an authorized partner arrangement.

3. Security and automation

Keep credentials private, patch your systems, use reasonable request rates, and identify automation where a destination requires it. Do not scan ports, test vulnerabilities, or perform security research against systems unless you have documented authorization from the system owner.

4. Enforcement

We may rate-limit, block destinations, suspend credentials, quarantine an order, request supporting information, or terminate an account when we reasonably believe this Policy has been violated or urgent action is needed to protect others. Serious or repeated abuse may be reported to providers or authorities where legally appropriate.

5. Reporting abuse

Report suspected misuse, including relevant timestamps, destination, IP address, and evidence, through prelaunch@invalid. Do not include sensitive credentials unless we specifically request a secure transfer.
